My venue already has a wedding coordinator, why do I need to hire Inspirations by Gina?
Although the on-site wedding coordinator will assist you on your wedding day, his/her first responsibility will be to the venue.
Coordinators that work for venues answer your questions about the policies of the venue, assist with menu choices, and process your paperwork. Many times on the wedding day the coordinator for the venue is not there or leaves early. The coordinator will not set up your many personalized items such as your favors, seating assignment names, sign in book, gift box, champagne flutes, and other personalized items that you would like set up on your special day. If there is a problem in the kitchen and you need to be greeted and have your dress bustled, any venue challenge will take precedence.
Your Inspirations by Gina coordinator works for you and will be there every step of the way to help. In addition, your Inspirations by Gina coordinator is trained in helping you with the entire wedding weekend, also familiar with your family members, as opposed to just the part that relates to the venue.
Do you charge for an initial consultation?
Our initial consultations are complimentary. This is a chance for us to get to know each other to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
How much communication will we have?
We have a policy to respond to all emails and phone messages in a timely manner. We will respond to all messages within 24 hours unless we are at an event.
Do you have a business license? Do you have liability insurance?
Yes, Inspirations by Gina holds a business license and we also have liability insurance.
Beware of any vendor that doesn’t have liability insurance. Although situations are rare and we have never had to use ours, many venues require it and you should not be held responsible for any damages incurred by your vendors on the wedding day.
I’m having a religious ceremony. Are you familiar with the events that will take place?
We have been blessed to have coordinated many different types of weddings ranging from Catholic ceremonies to tea ceremonies. If you are having a wedding that is not listed here we would absolutely love to learn all about the customs and events.
What services do you offer?
We offer Full Service Planning and Coordination, Month of Coordination aka ” Day of Coordination”, Intimate Weddings, Floral and Event Design.
Do you charge an hourly rate, a flat rate or a percentage of my overall wedding budget? What is the retainer to secure your services?
We charge a flat rate/percentage of your overall budget for your customized wedding planning service. In all cases, a retainer is required to secure our services. A fee schedule will be tailored to your needs prior to signing a contract.
